About StrikeZone

Cricket that develops the whole player

StrikeZone gives young South African cricketers real match exposure, a structured seasonal journey, and a league environment designed to build confidence on and off the field.

More match time Regular fixtures that let young players grow through real cricket situations.
More confidence A league setting that rewards effort, learning, and steady development.
More family moments More chances for parents to watch, support, and enjoy their children playing proper matches.

Built for players who need real game time

StrikeZone Cricket League was founded in Johannesburg to give young cricketers a structured, competitive, and enjoyable league experience from the moment they can hold a bat at Under 9 through to Under 18.

Many school-going kids play cricket, but too many still do not get enough meaningful match time to build confidence and improve consistently. StrikeZone fills that gap with regular competitive fixtures and genuine opportunities to bat, bowl, and learn under pressure.

We also care about what cricket teaches beyond the boundary. Players grow through teamwork, communication, discipline, leadership, and how they respond to both wins and setbacks.

Create more chances for children to play, and more moments for families to enjoy the game

Watching your child play a cricket match is one of the real pleasures of youth sport. StrikeZone is built to create more of those opportunities, with organised fixtures, meaningful involvement, and an environment where every family can feel part of the journey.

Give every player a real role We want children to bat, bowl, field, and learn through genuine match responsibility.
Develop character through cricket Confidence, teamwork, discipline, and resilience matter as much as the scoreboard.
Make matchday meaningful for parents StrikeZone exists so families can enjoy watching their kids play competitive cricket in a structured setting.
